A superb 5-day masterclass with Alexandra Slava in the studio from 8 untill 12/04/24. Some of the participants choose for a full body, others for a torso, like myself. Sculpting in the presence of a professional model for five days is an honour.
This masterclass offered us the unique opportunity to explore the internal structure and complexity of a figure in three dimensions. The first classes were devoted to the study of human anatomy and practical exercises designed to help students understand the internal framework of the body before we took on the challenge of sculpting from life models.

This workshop explains how to make a wafer-thin bowl with flax porcelain on an inflated balloon. You only have to be careful when applying the structure otherwise the balloon explodes and your bowl lies in your lap. Guy’s craftsmanship showed how we can be creative with this too.
Perhaps it became the most beautiful work because of the power of the explosion.
Today, we concluded the masterclass with a rainbow.
